Hey, I'm Zach! 👋

Toward the end of 6 rewarding years of working in vocational ministry, I started learning web development in order to build a website for my church. Enthralled by the inner workings of the world wide web, and while stuck at home during the COVID pandemic, I launched my career to become a software engineer.

Currently, I work as a full-stack engineer at NBC Sports Next. My team manages a server-side rendered frontend Angular application on top of a headless Drupal content management system with a GraphQL service layer.

In my spare time I like to study the Bible with BibleProject, make my daughter laugh, go on hikes with my wife, train my Aussie, and bring people together with games and meaningful conversation.
